From our community to yours,
Wishing you a peaceful winter season, warm homes, and friendly hellos along the way. Thank you for being part of what makes West Willowdale feel like home.

Established in 1920, Willowdale has been and continues to be a family-focused neighbourhood known for its quiet, tree-lined streets, custom homes, and a strong sense of community. It blends modern residences with traditional houses, creating an attractive and harmonious streetscape. The area is anchored by reputable local schools like Churchill Public School and Willowdale Middle School, which draw many families to the neighbourhood. With its walkable streets, nearby parks, and calm residential atmosphere, Willowdale offers a balanced, suburban-urban lifestyle that feels safe, welcoming, and community-oriented.

Our association is dedicated to preserving the neighbourhood's unique heritage and character, ensuring that any growth and change respect Willowdale's identity, protect its livability, and uphold the qualities that have long made it such a desirable place to call home.

About Us

Who We Are

A united, active, and committed group of residents working together to protect and strengthen our neighbourhood between Horsham→ Park Home | Bathurst → Senlac
We believe that real transformation begins with people — when residents connect, neighbourhoods flourish.
  • Willowdale West Population 2016

    16,936

    That is 5,820 people/km²

  •

  • Key Interpretation

    1. West Willowdale at 59.3 people/ha (5,930/km²) is:

    2. 35–40% denser than the Toronto average

    3. In the upper range of urban density

4.Similar to many mid-rise neighbourhoods with apartments, older walk-ups, and mixed housing

  • 5. Our ward is already denser than the provincial minimum target for general urban areas.

    6. Our ward is not expected to meet MTSA or UGC density levels unless it is directly adjacent to rapid transit.

    7. A density of 59.3 people/ha is consistent with a “middle-urban” low-rise neighbourhood—not an area planned for major intensification.
